Terms of Use
1. General Information
These Terms of Use ("Terms") outline the legal framework for using WebWatch ("App"). By accessing or using WebWatch, you agree to comply with these Terms. The contract language is English.
2. Services Provided
2.1 Free and PRO Versions
WebWatch offers two versions:
- Free Version: Monitor up to 3 websites.
- PRO Version: Monitor unlimited websites and integrate with the Shortcuts app for automation. More details are available in the App Store.
2.2 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify the services provided by WebWatch as needed, taking user interests into consideration.
2.3 How WebWatch Works
WebWatch checks for website updates using iOS's Background App Refresh. The frequency of these checks is determined by your device settings and battery conditions. WebWatch supports monitoring static public websites only; websites requiring login or featuring dynamic content are not supported.
3. Getting Started
3.1 Downloading the App
WebWatch is available for download from the Apple App Store. All functionality runs locally on your device, and no data is sent to external servers. To unlock additional features, you can upgrade to the PRO version via an in-app subscription.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Appropriate Use
You agree to use WebWatch in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. You may not modify, reverse-engineer, or misuse the App in any way that compromises its functionality.
4.2 Data and Notifications
WebWatch relies on background updates to detect changes on monitored websites. Ensure that Background App Refresh is enabled for proper operation.
4.3 Automation with Shortcuts (PRO Version)
The PRO version supports integration with the Shortcuts app, allowing users to automate website checks and create custom workflows for a streamlined experience.
5. Payments and Subscription
5.1 Subscription Fees
Subscription fees for the PRO version are charged upon sign-up and at the beginning of each billing period. Pricing details can be found in the App Store.
5.2 Renewal and Cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. You can manage your subscription through your Apple ID settings. After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free version at the end of the current billing cycle.
6. Termination of Use
Since WebWatch does not require an account and all data is stored locally on your device, there is no formal account to delete. To stop using WebWatch, simply uninstall the App.
7. Liability
7.1 General Liability
WebWatch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
7.2 Monitoring Accuracy
WebWatch aims to detect changes promptly; however, real-time or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Users should not rely solely on WebWatch for critical updates.
7.3 Website Limitations
WebWatch is limited to monitoring static public websites. Websites requiring login or containing dynamic elements are not supported.
8. Privacy Policy
WebWatch does not collect or transmit personal data. All information and settings are stored locally on your device, ensuring complete privacy.
